C-SLA: Redefining Clean Implants

In 1997, SLA surface technology was pioneered by the Swiss medical device manufacturing company Straumann.

Renowned for its proven safety in extensive clinical cases, SLA surface technology stands as the most extensively utilized surface technology worldwide, however, due to surface treatment methods using acids, the possibility of residue and toxicity on the implant surface cannot be completely ruled out. To address this, DENTIS has developed the innovative surface technology, C-SLA™!

Furthermore, contamination that can occur during the production and packaging processes cannot ensure the stability of implants! If contaminated implants of poor quality are implanted in patients, it can lead to fatal consequences. Therefore, the implant production environment must also be meticulously taken care of!

Recognizing these risks, DENTIS innovatively applied Clean-Tech™ to the globally recognized SLA surface, resulting in the development of CLEAN SLA, abbreviated as C-SLA™ surface technology. Through DENTIS’ unique Clean-Tech™, concerns regarding ‘residue’ and ‘toxicity,’ typically associated with the traditional SLA surface treatment processes involving Sandblasting, Large Grit, and Acid Etching, have been eliminated. This advancement has significantly enhanced the clinical safety standards. As a result of these endeavors, ‘C-SLA™’ has achieved an unprecedented outcome with no residue and no lot defects.

The advanced surface technology C-SLA™ is developed with innovations such as ultra-pure, ultra-precision cleaning and sterilization equipment including Vacuum Ultrasonic Wave System, Spherical Wave System, PID System, and more, which have the implants go through 30 steps of cleaning alone.

DENTIS implants utilize the C-SLA™ surface technology to boast exceptional safety and quality assurance and has achieve an unprecedented outcome with no reside, no toxicity, and no lot defects.

As a result of our endeavors, the DENTIS SQ Implants, was awarded with the, “Trusted Quality,” certificate from Germany’s Clean Implant Foundation in December 2023, solidifying our position as trustworthy implants.

The Clean Implant Foundation (CIF) is a nonprofit implant quality evaluation organization based in Germany, established in 2016! They rigorously evaluate implant quality according to strict verification procedures and grant certification to only a few implants among hundreds of implant manufacturing companies worldwide. Therefore, the certification of the DENTIS SQ implant by CIF is especially meaningful and significant!

The C-SLA™ surface technology is the culmination of DENTIS’s commitment to clean principles since 2006, offering unparalleled technical prowess and brand value!

DENTIS’s C-SLA™ technology has received high praise in the dental field for completely eliminating residue and toxicity issues, enhancing safety, and delivering high-quality clean implants!

Building on these achievements, DENTIS continues to innovate and aims to grow as a leading company in the global dental market.

SQ Line Implants (DENTIS) and optimum outcomes for Full Arch Cases The SQ Line implants from DENTIS are advanced, tapered implants designed for enhanced stability and adaptability, particularly in full arch cases. As mentioned before, these implants offer excellent primary stability, which is critical when working with patients who might have limited bone density. In full arch cases, implant stability is paramount for achieving successful and long-lasting results. S-Line Abutments S-Line Abutments are a system of abutments that are designed to work seamlessly with DENTIS SQ Line implants. When combined, the DENTIS S-Line Abutments with 4.8mm diameter implants and platform switching offer a robust and well-rounded solution for implant restorations, especially in full arch cases. Here’s how they complement each other: Stable and Reliable Implant Base: The 4.8mm diameter implant provides a solid base for the restoration, offering a larger surface area for osseointegration (integration with bone). This is crucial for supporting multiple-unit prostheses like those used in All-on-4 or All-on-6 systems. Bone Preservation and Long-Term Health: The platform switching technique ensures that there is less stress on the bone around the implant, which is especially important when a full arch restoration is needed. This leads to better bone preservation and reduces the chances of bone loss. Aesthetic Soft Tissue Support: The S-Line Abutments are designed to offer a stable connection to the implant while also improving the soft tissue profile. Efficient and Versatile for Full Arch Cases: The combination of platform switching and 4.8mm implants works perfectly in full arch rehabilitation, where there is often a need for multiple implants to support a large prosthesis. The design ensures better stress distribution across the implants and reduces the chance of complications like implant failure or loose abutments. Reduced Complications: By utilizing platform switching with S-Line Abutments and4.8mm implants, clinicians can reduce commoncomplications, such as bone loss and soft tissue recession, which are often concerns in full arch cases. Full Arch Rehabilitation In a full arch case, combining SQ Line implants with S-Line abutments, Scan Body Pro, Rev Scan, and DENTIS MUA allows for: Optimal Implant Placement: The digital tools (Scan Body Pro & Rev Scan) ensure accurate implant placement, while the SQ Line implants provide a solid foundation for the entire process. Customized Abutments: The S-Line abutments are tailored to fit each patient’s specific needs and can be adjusted to support the prosthesis, ensuring a stable and aesthetic result. Minimized Surgical Time: The digital scanning and planning systems allow for faster, more precise procedures, which means less chair time for patients and a more streamlined workflow for clinicians. Long-Term Success: Using high-quality components (like SQ Line implants, S-Line abutments, and MUAs), combined with advanced scanning technology, ensures a high success rate and long-lasting results for full arch patients. Aesthetic and Functional Results: The precision of the implant system and digital tools results in a prosthesis that is not only functional but also looks natural and fits well.
